My journey into the cloud wasn't intended nor planned. As many others, I stumbled into it and embraced it with all my energy and enthusiasm. Technology is such a large diverse universe, much like us humans on planet earth. There are various ethos and sectors and buckets and it can be confusing to learn and tie it together. I realized I didn't have to. As much as I was excited at having established a tech career and enjoying my time at various start ups in pre-sales engineering, I knew there was a platform, an infrastructure that was behind the scenes that was being used everywhere I worked. It was the Cloud. It was mysterious as much as it was thrilling to try and understand the various platforms and technologies that made up the cloud. How it worked, where it was relevant and how businesses were starting to adopt made for great conversations in those early days of cloud adoption back in 2010. So much has evolved. Businesses are no longer interested in simply being in the cloud, they are vested and driven to do more, innovate more, and bring the best of new technologies to the forefront that will capitalize on that foundational level of the cloud. Wow. So much to learn, yet so much fun to be part of!
